St Mary's Church, Claremont Gardens, Whitley Bay NE26 3SF, UK
About
This week is Harvest Festival, when the church traditionally gives thanks for food and God's providence. We are inviting you to bring in non-perishable foods, which will then be donated to local charities that can give them to those in need. All sorts of items are received with thanks, but North Tyneside charity "Walking With" have given us a list of the items of which they are in most need:
basmati rice
sugar
tea bags
coffee
toilet rolls
washing powder
washing up liquid
oil
pasta/spaghetti
shampoo
shower gel
toothpaste
biscuits
For the service:
Everything you need to know, or any direction during the service will be given to you.
Words to the readings and hymns will be available on our notices, and you are welcome to follow along in church if you wish.
Please bring a face covering to wear unless you have an exemption. We do have a few at church if you forget.
Try not to congregate before or after the service in groups; this feels very counter-intuitive when we want to enjoy fellowship with one another, but we must respect guidance on socialising.
We're still asking that you RSVP online if possible, to help us prepare and arrange the seating for you. Get in touch if you have any concerns.
Looking forward to seeing you!.
