MOTHERS' UNION

The Mothers' Union is a Christian organisation started in 1876 by Mary Sumner, a Rector's wife, who wanted to help young mothers.  We now have 4 million members around the world. We are women - but not all:  men belong too.

We are mothers  - but not all: some are single or divorced. We support MU projects at home and abroad, where we educate women and empower them to provide for their families. We campaign to protect children in our society.

Our branch meets monthly to discuss, to learn and for fellowship.
