Food Bank plea for help.
We desperately need your help!
The shelves are emptying quicker than we can fill them! With so many people in need we can't afford to run out.
Referrals are 30% up compared to last year. That’s more than 45 emergency parcels each day (400+ people each week). Yet donations have massively fallen; we simply can’t keep up with demand.
We desperately need Christmas food items. Things like Gravy Granules, Stuffing, Biscuits, Chutney, Custard etc. As well as long life items such as Tinned Meat, Tinned Fruit and Jam/Spread.
Please help if you can. Every donation helps.
Please leave any donations in the box under the table in the church entrance.
Light Party
To bring some light into the darkness we will be holding out annual Light Party on Saturday 4th January at 4pm. Food, games, craft and stories. Click the link below to find more information and to let us know you are coming.
Flowers
The flowers in church this week have been paid for by donations to remember 'Loved Ones' at this Christmas time.
Also, a note of thanks for all who have donated to the flower fund over the past year and also to the team who have prepared the beautiful displays of flowers in church for the past 12 months.
